Getting to the venue

Transport during race week is designed to be as simple and efficient as possible for athletes and spectators.

Official shuttle buses will operate between the University of Limerick and Limerick Racecourse, with a full timetable released closer to the event. Shuttle transport is available to athletes staying in official accommodation Make sure to purchase your tickets in advance.

Parking is available at Limerick Racecourse for those travelling by car. The weekly parking fee is €100; however, this fee is waived entirely for athletes staying in official accommodation, where a complimentary parking pass is included.

Airport Travel

Teams requiring organised transport from the airport should contact the Local Organising Committee directly (loc@ocrwc2026.com). This service is intended for larger groups and team delegations.

For individual athletes and small groups, direct public transport options are available from Dublin Airport to Limerick, including the popular Green Bus service, which provides a direct connection to Limerick City and the University of Limerick.
